Question about draw distance in Phoenix

Hi All
I have a question that would concern machinima as well as photos.  I'm using Phoenix basically a my main viewer.  I am on Mac.
Trying to cam high enough to take an aerial photo or video.  If I start getting to a certain point I loose all the buildings and can't get my picture.  A long time ago in Emerald there was something somewhere, I don't remember though, about draw distance.
Is there a way to correct this so I can get a good overhead photo or video of my city?
Not sure if this is the right group to post in. if not, sorry.
thanks
Kevin

mine is set max to 1024. its the slider calls DRAW DIST on the top in Phoenix viewer - or adjust it in ur prefs/grafiks.
if it gets too crowed on the area - lag and primwise - forget filming .-)) let us know if it worked out.
