How this Group Works

Our hope and desire for this group is to create a rich resource of Second Life makers who create poses and animations in-world

~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you make animations or poses, start your own thread in this group's discussion forum and be sure to include an inWorld SLUrl and the name the business operates under, as well as your SL avatar's name.
If you're a film-maker and want to give a maker you like some love, comment to their thread or invite them to visit here.
Cisko started a couple of threads already that are recommendation lists.  If you like, add to those too!
@Dimitrio: well, asking is for free. And besides that, I would be willing to contribute to a package, wich we then could offer for a small fee to every Machinimatographer, who is registered here or any other enthusiats group.
@Cisko: there is a pro group? Really? lol....
I've wondered about animations for the longest time. There are some animators in Second Life, such as Stroker Serpentine, who have their own motion capture studios. Perhaps one of them would be willing to record a collection of common actions and movements for us in mocap if we provided a comprehensive list. I'm not familiar with the time involved in capturing animations for use in SL though. If it takes a lot of work it could get expensive, unless they were machinima enthusiasts.
xstreet may demand fees, how about a members only branch of the MAG at one of the sites you mention?
Comment by Laurina Hawks on September 17, 2010 at 6:17am
now we must find a way to deposit the animations somewhere... xstreet? Or at a specific place in SL? At least we would need a location somewhere with info and meeting point, I would offer that at the Metaworlds Studios at Downtown Babylon. Or maybe at your villa?
