1angelcares Writer has not received any gifts yet
I became a Second Life™ resident in July of 2007. Ever since Orientation Island, I have been interested in acting in machinima, even meeting early on with writer/director Laurina Hawks about taking part in one of her projects. The project didn't materialize and I set aside that idea, not having the confidence to pursue it further.
Then, in May, 2008, I was "discovered" by Suzy's Super Cast and Crew and asked to become an actor for a machinima series commissioned by IBM. The rest, as they say, would make a great movie! (hmmmmmm.......think I could get cast to play the role of "Myself"?)
Since then, I've gone on to work with Chantal Harvey as a voice over talent for the 48 Hour Machinima Project, as an actress in promotional films for Cocos Island and Flashpoint Academy, for Dietrich Finesmith to act in and do voice over for his Second Life™ television pilot "St. Andrews" with Metaverse Broadcasting Company. I have been a contestant on Lovey Foxtrot's The Dating Casino, done a live show with Cellandra Zon, and acted in a film directed by Evie Fairchild. On February 1st, 2010, I was finally cast in the lead of a short film by Laurina Hawks, the director whose work I so admired when my SL began. It's called El Giafaron and it's a sci-fi in which I have three voice roles! Later, I played in two more movies directed by Laurina, The Simulacron and No Tomb for the Arts which won a prestigious 1st place award.
When I am not acting, I spend my time inworld as an avid shopper, forever trying to sort out my inventory.
