Jenna Ng is currently a Newton Trust/Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge, where she is writing up a book on the digital mobile camera. Her research interests lie primarily in digital culture and society, particularly in relation to digital imaging technologies, but she has also written on other topics such as cinephilia, cinema and time and East Asian cinema. Her first edited collection, Understanding Machinima, is currently in production with Blooomsbury Academic Press, and she has also published work in various essay collections and journals, including Animation, Screening the Past and Cinema Journal.
