AUDO-SWAPPED!!!
These are the video clips from my very first recordings in Second life, the "Ezura and AQ face tattoos" Show, presented by Evane Models Agency, November 20 - 2010. Recorded with WeGame and edited in Windows Live Movie Maker. :-/ (I'm still a newbie at this, it will take a lot of practice in both recordings and editing, this is quite diffifcult for someone whitout any previous experience)
I have edited the video clips from a models perspective, maybe boring for some people. But I like to see these hardworking models, some of the best in Sl, in their choice of poses, how they combine them, the turns and how they manage to walk so elegantly in heavy lag, their styling, etc. And of course, the outstanding creations by Ezura Xue.
This is more of a documentary type of video, when you whatch a fashion show in Second Life, this is basically what it looks like, "Second Life Reality" :-)
"Your video, EZURA & EVANE FASHION SHOW, may have content that is owned or licensed by Sony Music Entertainment", can't be seen in Germany. :-/ This is really a pain in the neck, finding the most fitting music to my videos that aren't licensed.

There is another really good machinima maker that shoots fashion shows as well, Valentina Tremont, her videos are awesome, I love watching them, all the effects, etc...
But does these videos want me to buy the clothes? No! I guess it's a question of what audience you're aiming at. Take TreetTV's show of Mami Jewels designs, as an example. TreetTV presents Azul yes it's a very long video, however as a potential customer I get very valuable information about every design and styling and therefore I will be more interested, to tp over to Azul and actually buy the gowns, or at least one of them...lol.
Comment by Voff Uggla on February 15, 2011 at 4:58am Daniel. I downloaded the Live optional Movie maker for win 7, it's a tiny bit better then the default one, well at least some more animated transition effects to choose between, it's simple to use and okay for a beginner as me.
Friday: There are so many more negative aspects regarding modeling in SL, so I made the decision to quit. Fot those who are interested to find out more about why I decided to quit, check out The Glamorus Life of a Second Life Model
Cisko: The evening when I recorded the fashion show, I had installed WeGame (1 month free pro) THE SAME AFTERNOON. I wanted to try it out so I asked Mimmi if I could record the show and she agreed. I had never recorded anything before, not to forget editing, it was like greek to me in the beginning. But slowly I'm learning how to edit so I decided to put together the clips from The Evane show recently. No it was not a paid job...lol. I basically made the video for myself and other models, this is basically what it looks like when you watch a fashion show in Second Life.
I watched TreetTV's fashion show, presenting the gorgeous gowns designed by Mami Jewel , owner of Azul, and WOW that was so professionally done. The whole presentation was very well done, detailed descriptons about every outfit, and the video IS long, but this is the kind of information people in the fashion world likes to know about. Their fashion video was more like a real TV show.
The missing details with close-ups, well I don't have a joystick or a space navigator, I'm using the keyboard and the mouse, and that is quite difficult, therefore the jerky zoomz and pans.
Thank you all so much for the feedback, positive as negative, I'm here to learn. :-)

Comment by Daniel Southby on February 7, 2011 at 3:42am Good Job for your first filming in sl. I liked that you did it from the models perspective too, after all it is a fashion show ;)
Is Windows Live Movie Maker a updated version of Windows Movie Maker? I am using Windows Movie Maker that came with my computer's OS and have some issues with it when it comes to editing so was wondering if Windows Live Movie Maker would work better.

Comment by Voff Uggla on February 2, 2011 at 12:50pm Yeah I know, such a headache to find music, and the music I chosed wasn't what I really wanted, but I had a previous video on YouTube with that music, that worked the, maybe not in Germany, so I took a chance. I mean after 8 hrs of clipping and editing and then you have to find the music *BIG SIGH*
I will check out the url Cisko, thanks a lot :-)
