I must appologize for not every walk is clean in sync with the music. Taking the footage at this a bit laggy sim turned out to be rather difficult. reviewing the movement shots i saw that i merely got 1 or 2 seconds fluently before it stuck. Therefore streching it to slow motion did not always help. I had to struggle on more than one subject.. The dragon was a guest and he passed by by coincidence, so i could snap him only one. I decided to take him into my video because somehow he was cute. ; )

I know the feeling well.  It mostly happens for me in dreams.  The skipping along in time to a darkly humorous melody that is actually your own feelings as you explore a surprising and dream-like landscape.

Thank you very much for your interesting comment dear Hypatia! I´d like to add some word to the slightly melancholic touch of the music: Do you know the feeling you can get when you see an overwealming beautiful and intact landscape? These things seem to be like islands that vanish more and more out of the world (rl).

There is something ceremonious about the dragon walking in step to the music. Even the heron's movements are in time with the music.  The music is both whimsical and ceremonious.

The black dragon looks as an interesting contrast with the nature's colours. I would delete the part when it goes trough the tree.. apart from this, I like the place, the music, and editing

Thank you very much Hypatia for watching and your kind comment! = )

Thank you Natascha for taking the effort to help with your much appreciated advice. Indeed i was shooting all day and tried once and again to get better footage, but i don´t know why, things got more and more laggy. Just to get the Heron like this and his fish visible took me hours. But i do agree with you! ; )

It's mostly true what the other members wrote. But for me, it seems that you were a bit too fast with this production.

Especially with the animals. The animals do not flee, if you are too closely:) So you can shoot and shoot and shoot, different angles, different draw distance and so on. What you need is footage, footage, footage and footage and I think we have the time ( I know how it feels when you're finally ready. and it will be released to the world:) )  to shoot it again, tomorrow

More footage means more options and in postpro we have a bunch of options to  make it look as if the LAG is a good thing :)

But that does not mean I do not like your video. There are many really good ideas and I love the very first 10 seconds and the soft Boom, when the dragon hits the tree. And the wolf, watching your balloon flight:)

What an absolutely CHARMING machinima, Moana!!!  The music is a real winner, I'm gonna check out this artist on jamendo.  What is so cool about it is the slightly ominous nature of the music that seems to at odds with the pretty events until you get to the wolf and the dragon, who... although they are clearly in a fantasy world... just provide enough hint of danger, like a fairy tale.  Love the dragon merging with the tree, and his slight oof!
